UPDATE - We are pleased to report that the 2011 financial statements for all enrolled plans have been completed and mailed as of April 5, 2012. While we still have a few plans that are listed as “On Hold” on the Processing Order List, this is because there are payments still outstanding or required information from the plan’s sponsor that has yet to be provided. We regret that we are not as far along in mailing the individual members’ Annual Pension Statements but these too should be fully distributed within the next three to four weeks.
We are extremely pleased by the cooperation shown by the plan sponsors in getting all necessary information to PMRS in a timely fashion. This is the earliest we have ever been able to complete the financial statements which is a considerable feat considering our growing number of plan sponsors year after year! Should you have questions or concerns regarding your statement, please contact our office at 1.800.622.7968 or e-mail us at ra-staff@pa.gov.
Please read the following information regarding the System's processing policy.
To better assist you in determining when your municipality's statements will arrive, we have provided a Processing Order List based on our "first-come, first-served" policy. This means that preparation of the financial and member statements will be processed in the order that municipalities provided complete and accurate information to PMRS. A municipality’s pension plan will be ranked after the information is verified and posted to the associated accounts. This process takes about three weeks from receipt of the completed Fourth Quarter 2011 PMRB-21, Quarterly Report of Contributions until the plan is put into the queue. This will provide the municipality and its employees with a better opportunity to receive their pension statements in a more timely fashion.
Should you experience difficulty using this feature, have other problems regarding your statements, or have questions that are not addressed by the FAQs on our website, please do not hesitate to contact us. A directory of contribution types and a mock version of the member statement will also be provided to assist you. We strongly encourage each municipality to review their financial packets before submittal to PMRS. Doing so greatly reduces the possibility of your financial and member statements being delayed.

As always, thank you for the opportunity to serve you!
